ABOUT THE EXPO
About The Hokkaido Snow Travel Expo
The Hokkaido Ski Promotion Council was established 5 years ago in order to promote Hokkaido's winter attractions, especially to the overseas market. In the past, the Council frequently participated in overseas trade shows to promote Hokkaido's snow resorts. Now we've decided to invite tour agents and media from overseas to experience the real Hokkaido. We hope that these hands-on experiences will contribute more to spread our winter attractions, powder snow and ski resorts to our target markets: East Asia and neighboring countries.
Hokkaido Snow Travel Expo 2014 in NISEKO
Hokkaido has quite a few world-class ski resorts, where many skiers and snow boarders from all over come for our famous powder snow. Besides skiing, Hokkaido is well known throughout Japan and internationally for its attractive tour resources, such as food and natural hot springs. This Expo was hosted in Furano in 2012 and Rusutsu in 2013, and these events were very well received by their attendees. This year we present fun winter life at Niseko, home of the “Champagne Powder Snow” sought after by skiers the world over.We hope your unforgettable winter experience will help your travel planning and airline tickets sales during the ski season.

Niseko also includes neighboring towns such as Kuchan, Rankoshi and Iwanai. However, the Niseko Ski Resort refers to the areas of Niseko Town and Kuchan Town only.
Niseko United
Niseko United consists of four major ski resorts at the bottom of Mt. Niseko Annupuri: Hanazono Ski Resort, Niseko Grand Hirafu Ski Reosrt, Niseko Villege Ski Resort and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Resort. Niseko United is about 100km from Sapporo, is connected to the Niseko-Syakotan and Otaru Seashore Park, and is east of the Niseko Annupuri mountain range stretching from the Japan Sea. Mt. Yotei is the core mountain in Niseko and is full of distinctive nature. The westerly winds from Eurasia pick up moisture over the Japan Sea and bring powder snow to our Niseko mountains. The wide variety of slopes and woods in Niseko Annupuri guarantees memorable runs for all levels of skiers.
Niseko Hanazono Ski Resort
Niseko Hanazono Ski Resort accommodates everyone from powder enthusiasts to park riders. At Hanazono Park (one of the largest in Hokkaido) half pipe and strawberry fields are available. Enjoy after-ski entertainments at HANAZONO 308 Day Center!

Niseko Village Ski Resort
Niseko Village Ski Resort provides direct access to two main resort hotels: The Green Leaf and Hilton Niseko Village. Popular scenic trails run through the woods. Ski schools, activities and kids programs are available.
Niseko Annupuri International Ski Resort
Niseko Annupuri International Ski Resort offers an extensive skiing area with the finest powder snow and neatly groomed slopes. Many hot springs are available nearby, so you can enjoy outdoor bathing surrounded by pristine white snow.
Niseko Town
Niseko Town features four full seasons of beautiful nature. Enjoy color changes in the surrounding mountain ranges and wild hot springs. Niseko was home to the well-known Japanese novelist Takeshi Arishima.
